Guidance
Led, not driven
“He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul.”
A shepherd leads at the pace of the flock. If your life feels driven, it may not be God setting the speed. He restores souls slowly and thoroughly.
One practice
Choose one thing to do slower today, on purpose.
Prayer
Shepherd of my soul, slow me down and lead me to still water.
